Children’s Day at our school was brought to life on November 14, 2025, with a spectacular Face Painting Competition — “Palette of Emotions – The Lively Canvas” — that captured the spirit of creativity and self-expression. A total of 120 students from classes IX and XI showcased their artistic talents, transforming faces into vibrant canvases that reflected both emotion and imagination.
The Class IX participants explored topics such as ‘The Power of Emotions,’ with subthemes like Joy & Sorrow, The Mask, and Love in Colours, while others dived into ‘The Digital Age: Pixels & Paints,’ expressing ideas on Man vs Machine, AI: Friend or Foe?, and The Future Face. Class XI students embraced ‘Metamorphosis: The Power of Change’ through themes like Caterpillar to Butterfly, Transformation of Life, and Rise from the Ashes (Phoenix), or celebrated ‘Echoes of Culture: Heritage in Every Hue’ with Tribal Spirit, Colours of India, and Festivals of Light.
Each artist was free to select one subtopic, resulting in original and lively interpretations that wowed the audience. The competition was graced by esteemed judges: Dr. Sakshi Pandey, professor at Pal College (renowned academician and researcher in Commerce and Management), along with our School Chairperson, Dr. Geetika Balutia, and Principal, Mr. Anurag Mathur. Parents joined the celebration, adding to the enthusiastic atmosphere and lending their support to our young artists.
The showcase was met with unanimous admiration; parents and guests praised the creative expressions and imaginative flair of the participants. The event not only highlighted our students’ artistic potential but also underscored the importance of emotional and cultural themes in art, making this Children’s Day a memorable and inspiring occasion for the entire school community.
