To mark India’s 2nd National Space Science Day, Inspiration
Public School,Kathgodam , in collaboration with AstroPathshala, organized the Antriksha
Vigyaan Spardha on 20th August 2025, an intra-school space science quiz aimed
at nurturing scientific curiosity among students.
The event was graced by Mr. Mohit Kumar Joshi, Senior
Engineer and CPIO at ARIES, noted for his contribution to Asia’s largest 3.6m Devasthal
telescope. Mr Joshi was welcomed by Dr. Geetika Balutia (Chairperson), Mr. Deepak
Balutia (Director), Mr. Anurag Mathur (Principal), and Mrs. Mamta Taneja (Vice
Principal) From Astro Pathshala, Mr. Shubham Kumar (Co-Founder & COO) and
Mr. Santanu Kumar Patro (Academic Head) inspired students with their presence.
Conducted in an engaging KBC-Style format, the quiz featured
four rounds – Time Tellers, Puzzle, Rapid Fire, and Buzzer Round. Students
showcased quick thinking, scientific knowledge, and teamwork throughout the
contest.
In the Junior Category, Ahaan Tiwari (3B), Jayant Joshi (4
Tulip), and Keyaan (5 Tulip) secured first place, followed by Akshij Mehta,
Manvi Bisht, and Pranshul Bhandari in second, and Tushita Bhakuni, Vivek Joshi,
and Kush Tiwari in third. In the Senior Category, Hridhyanshi Bisht (6B),
Prisha Negi (7A), and Nikshay Tiwari (8C) emerged winners, with Ekaansh Sah,
Dhruv Rawat, and Vyom Joshi as runners-up, and Archit Kandpal, Shashank Pandey,
and Anmol Singh Kutiyal in third place.
The program concluded with prize distribution and words of
encouragement from the guests of honor, leaving students motivated to explore
the vast world of space science.
