Description:
Rockets are special vehicle for scientific discovery and human exploration in space. They enable satellite deployment for communication, weather forecasting, and GPS, and make space exploration possible, sending probes to distant planets and humans to the International Space Station. Understanding rockets inspires future scientists and engineers to push the boundaries of our knowledge and capabilities.
On July 18th, 2024, AstroPathshala organized an exhilarating rocketry workshop at Inspiration School, ignited the curiosity and creativity of young minds. Students explored the basics of rockets, learned about aerodynamics, and designed and constructed their own rockets. The highlight of the day was the hydro rocket launching session, where students enthusiastically launched their self-made rockets, witnessing their creations soar into the sky. This workshop not only provided practical knowledge but also emphasized the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and scientific temperament. By engaging in hands-on learning, students developed a deeper understanding of the scientific concepts behind rocketry and gained confidence in their abilities to innovate and experiment.
