Description: A Mystic spirit… A Goddess of the night. It was the darkness… That awakened her light. Halloween's or All Hallows Eve’s origin can be traced back to the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain where it was believed that on that day, the souls of the dead returned to their homes, so people dressed in costumes and lit bonfires to ward off spirits. #Inspiration Public School observed Halloween by organizing Scary face painting competition for classes #IX-XII today. The theme was “#Zombie faces”. Around #130 students participated in the activity very enthusiastically and showcased wonderful ideas on the faces of their respective models. They crafted prosthetic faces by using homemade dough and painted them. They put embellishments to give it a scary look. Costumes added up the spark and gave an amazing overall look to the models. The competition was judged by the guest of the day Ms. #Anita Sharma, an artist and an Art teacher from #Art Today Institute, Haldwani. She was amazed to witness and judge the participants as each one was no less than the other. The event was also witnessed by School Chairperson Dr. Geetika Balutia, Principal Mr. Anurag Mathur and Vice Principal Ms. Mamta Taneja. The students of classes #VI-XII visited the aisle of zombie faced models and were excited to see them. Event Coordinator Ms. Smita Pant along with Ms. Haripriya Tiwari coordinated the event which was appreciated by all.
