Description:
Today was an exciting day as the kids of Nursery to Grade 2 explored science through hands-on experiments! The little scientists were filled with curiosity and enthusiasm as they watched everyday materials turn into magical reactions.
The Volcano Eruption experiment was a big hit! The children cheered as the fizzy lava bubbled over, amazed at how mixing baking soda and vinegar could create such a fun explosion.
The Magic Milk trick surprised everyone. The experiment was a beautiful sight, with bright colours swirling around like magic when dish soap was added.
The kids had a great time learning Water Filtration experiment, how to filter dirty water using materials like sand, gravel, charcoal and cotton. They were excited to see how the layers worked together to remove dirt and make the water clearer. Their curiosity and enthusiasm made the experiment even more enjoyable!
Students also had an amazing time exploring the science of Bubbles !
We made a simple bubble solution using water, dish soap, and glycerin. The glycerin helped the bubbles stay strong and last longer, which made the children even more excited! They eagerly dipped their bubble wands and watched as colorful, floating bubbles filled the air.
The most exciting moment was the Spooky Balloons experiment. The kids eagerly watched as the balloon inflated on its own, amazed that a simple chemical reaction could create gas to blow it up!
Overall, the experiments were a great success. The children not only had fun but also learned valuable scientific concepts in a way they could understand. It was a day full of laughter, curiosity, and lots of floating and shimmering bubbles.
