Description:
The three-day inter-school basketball championship, came to a close on 23rd November 2024. Students of Universal Convent in the girls category and Guru Teg Bahadur School in the boys category captured the winning trophy. The first semi-final match in the girls category was played between Inspiration and Universal School, in which Universal defeated Inspiration. The second semi-final match was played between DPS and SKM, in which SKM defeated DPS.
The first semi-final match in the boys category was played between Inspiration and Gurukul, in which Gurukul defeated Inspiration. The second semifinal match was played between St. Theresa and Guru Teg Bahadur School in which Guru Teg defeated St. Theresa.
The boys category winner trophy was won by Guru Teg Bahadur and the girls category winner trophy was won by Universal. The Most Emerging Player in the girls category was won by Nisha Arya (SKM School) and in the boys category was won by Bhupesh Singh Kanyal (Gurukul School). The title of Best Shooter was bagged by Kritika Tadagi (DPS School) in the girls category and Divyanshu Kandpal (St. Theresa) in the boys category. The title of Most Promising Player was bagged by Bhanu Pant (Universal School) in the girls category and Anil Bisht (Guru Teg Bahadur School) in the boys category.
On this occasion, sports coaches of the schools Meena Bisht (Guru Teg Bahadur School), Tushar (Universal School), Sagar Binwal (SKM), Neeraj Adhikari (Gurukul School) were also felicitated.
In the end, Chairperson Dr. Geetika Balutia and Principal Anurag Mathur expressed their gratitude to everyone and congratulated the winning team and wished them a bright future. On this occasion, Principal of Imperium School, Mrs. Radha Aithani, Adv. Satish Balutia, Mr. Praveen Rautela, Principal (Cynthia School), Mr. Manipushpak Joshi (Aurum School), Mr. Sanjay Balutia, Mrs. Gayatri Balutia, Mr. Vikram Singh (Queens), Mr. Vinod Joshi, Mrs. Bhavna Kaida (SKM), Mr. Vijay Joshi, Principal (Guru Teg Bahadur), Mr. Anil Joshi, Mr. Arvind Singh, Manager (Jim Corbett School), Lalita Balutia and all PSA officials were present.
