Description:
Music binds our soul, heart and emotions. Music is the best method of relaxation. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. To bring out the singing talent of the students, a solo singing competition (English/Hindi) was organized at I.P.S. on 26-Nov-2018. The Competition was categorized into Junior (VII to VIII) Group and for each category participated in the event. Each student prepared English/ Hindi songs under the expert guidance of Mr Manoj Pandey and Mr. Sanjay Goswami. The Melodious songs pulled the heartstrings of the audience as each one of the contestants showed his/her mastery over voice modulation pitch, rhythm and tone. The reverend guest judges Mrs Sharmistha Chakraborty Bisht (Vocalist in songs and drama division Nainital) and Mr. Edwin Shipley (Musician at Sherwood College Nainital) thoroughly enjoyed the mellifluous song. They were impressed with the confidence, the tonal quality and the Melody with which they presented their songs. Final the winners were congratulated by the Chairperson Mrs. Geetika Balutia and the Principal Mr. Anurag Mathur. They also encouraged the students and gave their valuable suggestions to do better in the future.
